Heidi Degele is an accomplished international dressage rider, trainer, and coach based in Loxahatchee, Florida—just minutes from the world-renowned Wellington dressage circuit. Known for her positive and dedicated approach, Heidi has built HeidiDressage LLC, a successful training and sales business devoted to developing horses and riders to their fullest potential.
Today, her primary focus is on representing high-quality horses already based in the U.S. Her clients—often owners who have previously imported their horses—trust Heidi to handle the sales process with professionalism, honesty, and proven results. Widely regarded as an industry expert and leading sales specialist, she has earned a reputation for excellence and integrity in every partnership.
Renowned for her keen eye and ability to match riders with the perfect horse, Heidi has become the go-to professional for buying or selling dressage horses in the U.S. Her mission is to help riders achieve success both in and out of the arena, while continuing to pursue her own dream of representing the United States at the highest levels of the sport. More About Heidi
Originally from Michigan, Heidi began her equestrian journey competing in the jumper ring before discovering her passion for dressage while studying at Michigan State University, where she earned a degree in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary and equine focus. After graduation, she moved to Germany to advance her education and was accepted into the elite training program of Olympic Gold Medalist Hubertus Schmidt. During her three years there, she refined her classical foundation and competed successfully through the Grand Prix level.
Heidi has been successfully selling horses since her third year of college—giving her nearly two decades of experience in the equine sales industry. She has always had a natural niche for pairing the right horse with the right rider, a talent that has made her one of the most trusted professionals in the U.S. dressage market. Since returning to Florida, she has trained and developed numerous horses to success in the Young Horse Championships and international competition—including Lakota HD, Winsor Rox, Shantal Rox, Benson HD, Decor HD, and Ibistrona.
Operating from her private farm in Deer Run (near Wellington, FL) with a brand-new covered arena, Heidi offers comprehensive training programs for all levels and runs one of the most reputable dressage sales programs in the country.
